\"\"Foreseeing the doctors\u2019 urgent need in high quality protective clothes long before the quarantine beginning, Kievguma LLC (Ukraine, Brovary) reanimated the own production capacities of this product as Kievguma manufactured pathogen coats in the 1980s. Thus our aim was to work out biological protection corresponding to the Ukrainian and harmonized European standards.<\/p>\n

Using its own experience and modern European technologies, cooperating with the military experts, epidemiologists and virologists Kievguma LLC developed and launched production of GumaTexTM innovative material. The material is uniquely resistant to soaking with liquids, biological substances and repeated disinfection. On its basis the new models of reusable protective clothes were worked out to prevent infection spreading while treating ill people as well as for medical stuff protection under epidemic and pandemic circumstances.
\nThe efficient receipt and German technology of material production were implemented. The legislative, construction and technological documents were prepared. The equipment and devices were manufactured. The required tests were conducted. The supplementary equipment for seams sealing was purchased. The own laboratory, certified by the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine according to DSTU ISO\/IEC standard GumaTexTM material and its products tests were conducted.<\/p>\n

In the process of independent pre-clinic tests it was established that Kievguma LLC protective clothes due to the unique material, design elements and patented manufacture technology had the highest level of biological protection and fully corresponded to the contemporary requirements of international medical practice and its purpose. The quality management system implemented at the enterprise complies with the requirements of Ukrainian standard DSTU EN ISO 13485:2016 which is confirmed by the certificate issued by T\u00dcV AUSTRIA European notified authority.<\/p>\n

It is important to mention, in a view of individual protection means rational utilization, the reusable protective clothes is more reasonable than non-reusable clothes as it has a longer period of use and can have more than 100 disinfection cycles being treated by the most wide-spread means. Due to the assistance of military doctors and volunteers who took part in the development and field research, Kievguma LLC arranged the production as soon as possible. Due to the support of charity funds the protective clothes series lots are already used in regions.<\/p>\n

In the result, Ukraine has its own high quality medical biological protection clothes made of local raw materials by the local manufacturer and complies with the European quality standards.<\/p>\n
