The specialists of the Medical Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the military took part in the development of the first aid kit, taking into account the requirements of NATO standards. Moreover, in 2016 the company was included in the register of commercial organizations of NATO Support and Procurement Agency. The first-aid kit is upon 80% stocked with products of Ukrainian production. It includes, among other things, the universal rubber tourniquet “Omega” and nasopharyngeal airway with patented design, which KYIVGUMA developed and put into mass production after 2014.

During the present year, thanks to the donor support of Ukraine by NATO countries and the German government in particular, KYIVGUMA was able to supply 100 000 pieces of tactical first aid kits for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Thus, the project provided material, not financial assistance. This allowed not only to provide the military with the necessary means, but also to provide Ukrainian enterprises with work.
