Depending on the application, design and method of manufacture , the following plates are produced:
Of the following types: HCAA – resistant to heat, cold, acids and alkali; ROP – resistant to oil and petroleum; heat-resistant plate; vacuum plate; ozone-hardening and other.
Classes:
1 – plate thickness from 1.0 to 20.0 mm, designed for products used to seal assemblies for pressure above 0.1 MPa;
2 – a plate thickness of 1.0 to 60.0 mm, intended for products used to seal assemblies, pressurized to 0.1 MPa, to prevent friction between metal surfaces, as well as themitigating single impact stresses, or used as gaskets, decking.
Features: F – molded plate, manufactured by vulcanization in the press-forms, on vulcanization presses; N – Non-molded plate, manufactured by vulcanization in boilers, as well in continuous vulcanizers.
Types: I – rubber plate; II – rubber-fabric plate.
Levels of rigidity: S – soft; M – medium; H – high.
Oil and Petrol Resistant Technical Plate is one of the types of rubber plates. Mainly it is used for the manufacture of rubber goods (MRG), for sealing between the fixed nodes and connections, as well as for flooring, gaskets and seals in electrical devices. They do not give rise to friction between metal surfaces, and mitigate the effects of impact stresses.
Scope of use: Rubber plates are intended for the manufacture of rubber products used for sealing fixed joints, preventing friction between metal surfaces, for mitigating single impact stresses, as well as for producing gaskets, decking and other non-sealing compounds.
Oil and petrol resistant rubber plates are used in the following conditions: gasoline, various types of oil fuel. They can also be used in the conditions of inert gas, air, nitrogen, liquid hydrocarbon compounds.
HCAA Technical Plate (GOST 7338-90)
HCAA technical plate means a technical plate resistant to heat, cold, acids and alkali. It can be deployed in a sufficiently adverse conditions.
It is a multifunctional product of the that does not lose its properties in the following conditions:
– Air environment with a vast range of temperatures (from 80 ° C to -60 ° C – the lower limit depends on the hardness of the product);
– Normal and seawater;
– Industrial solutions (without oil and oil products);
– Pickles (including high concentration);
– Inorganic acids and alkalis (20% concentration) at pressure rates of 0.05 to 10.0 MPa ;
– Inert gases and nitrogen (at a pressure of 0.05-0.4 MPa).
Application of the HCAA Technical Plates
HCAA technical plate is used for corrosion and chemical protection of various metal surfaces, elimination of the friction of the metal products against each other,mitigation of the single impact stresses, insulation of external devices and structures from the effects of high and low temperatures. Another use of RTI of this class is the manufacturing of decking (e.g. in production facilities), various gaskets and other products, and other non-molded products.
It is allowed to store the plate at a temperature of 25 to 35 ° C for more than three months during the warranty period of storage. When being stored the plates must be protected from direct sun and heat rays, as well as from oil, gasoline, kerosene and impact of their vapors, as well as acids, bases, gases and other substances that deplete the rubber and fabric.
Warranty period of storage plates: Class 1 – 5.5 years; 2nd class – 2.5 years from date of manufacture.
Warranty period: plates of Class 1 – 3 years; 2nd class – 1 year from the date of deployment, within the warranty period of storage plates.
