There are several areas of human activity, the jobs that associated with a high risk for the health and lives of personnel. Any production, which used units with high Voltage or corrosive substances (acids, alkalies) requires strict compliance with safety rules, including the use of special means, providing personal protection.
The “Kievguma” LLC undertook the production of various rubber insulating gloves, mats, overshoes, which help to protect persons against possible electric shock. For example, rubber gloves of the 1-st insulating class provide protection against electric shock with the voltage up to 7500V, 0 Class gloves are able to protect against electric shocks up to 1000V. These products can withstand temperatures ranging from -40 to + 40C. For the production of that gloves we use natural rubber latex, this material should be at least 1.1 mm in thickness.
Special protective gloves (TO 38.19-037-93) is a perfect mean to protect skin of your hands against solutions of acids, alkalies (concentration is not more than 20%), as well as their salts. In the production of these gloves we use natural latex, not less than 0.5 mm in thickness. Gloves are five-fingered, seamless, which ensures their maximum convenience, high durability and reliability.
For production of such protective means as insulating mats and overshoes it is used a special rubber compound.
But no matter how high quality of the manufactured products, the consumers should strictly abide by the operation regulations and remember about the permissible values of the electric current, temperature or concentration of aggressive substances.
